Dear Reader,
Thanksgiving is almost here, and Christmas is barreling towards me like Rosie O'Donnell heading for a Buffet line! After a bout with Bronchitis, the arrival of a new granddaughter, and the distraction of the up-coming holidays I find myself behind schedule and extremely distracted.
My goal is to write the best story I possibly can, and that can't be rushed. If I want to continue to receive all the wonderful emails complimenting the story I need to slow down. When I started posting A Single Soul well over a year ago, I was ahead by more than twenty chapters ahead giving me plenty of time to work on new chapters. Overtime my lead has been whittled away and now it is difficult to write a chapter and allow Jim time to edit it each week; and since he has a job, partner, and other interests I can't push too hard; besides, he works for free!
So I have decided to let everyone know that between now and New Year's there will be a few chapters posted but not on a weekly basis. If all works out as planned we will be back to posting weekly by the second week in January.
The re-writes of A Single Soul will continue to appear at CRVBoy weekly, we are ahead of the game there. Noblesse Oblige will continue on schedule; Henry does the heavy lifting on that, and like Single Soul we had completed more than half of book two before starting to post.
In the meantime I would love to hear from everyone who is following the story; it really does keep one's motivation up.
