![]() "So Martin's in class now?" Luke asked him.
"Yeah, though he'll be out in less than an hour," Nate answered. They were both packing things in their room. "Their room" was the room where they had met. Ever since they had gotten back together, Nate spent so much time back in his old room with Luke that he had ended up moving most of his things back into the old room. Closing his closet door, he put a few socks inside his backpack as Luke got up from his bed and wrapped his arMs. around him from behind.
"How are we going to sleep?" Luke asked as he placed small kisses over Nate's neck.
"Well, Dylan said he could sleep in with Julian so Martin can use his bed and we can have the guest bedroom," Nate said as he reached back and started rubbing Luke's thigh with his right hand.
"Ok, we better stop this or we won't make it there in time," Luke said as he gave Nate a last kiss on his neck and then walked back to his bed.
"Well, we have about an hour for him to get out of class and then he has to go get his stuff from his room..." Nate said smiling mischievously at Luke.
"OK, you're on," Luke said as he stood up and pulled him down on his bed. They started kissing passionately as Luke started pulling Nate's clothes off him. Then Nate proceeded to pull Luke's clothes off too and in a few minutes they were both naked and grinding their crotches together.
"I want you in me," Nate whispered into Luke's ear.
"You're starting to like that huh?" Luke asked him smiling.
"Well I gotta give it to you, maybe you're learning from me," Nate said chuckling.
Luke kissed him as they both laughed a little. "Well let's see what you think this time Professor Thompson," Luke said smiling as he reached for a condom and lube from his nightstand. He got the condom on, rubbed some lube on his dick and on Nate's ass and started to press in.
"The evaluation has started," Nate said laughing. A few minutes later, Luke had a steady rhythm and Nate was moaning under him. Luke leaned forward trying to kiss Nate but being shorter he could barely reach in between Nate's pectorals.
"I want to kiss you," Luke said as he kissed Nate's chest.
"Settle for my chest then, now fuck me harder shorty," Nate said smiling.
Luke pulled almost all the way out and slammed back in. Nate groaned and threw his head back. "Like that?" Luke asked him.
"Ok, I won't call you shorty again," Nate said smiling down at him as he kissed the top of Luke's head. Nate reached for his dick and started jerking it. Luke looked down and saw Nate's dick was fully erect and recognized Nate was about to cum. He pulled back out and then started applying pressure to Nate's prostate, wiggling his hips in circular motions. "Oh shit I'm gonna cum," Nate said as he held Luke tightly against him.
"Oh baby, I can tell," Luke said as he felt Nate's ass beginning to tighten around his dick.
"Don't cum inside, I want to try something," Nate said before groaning as his dick erupted in several shots of cum that reached up to his and Luke's faces.
Luke stayed still inside Nate as he waited for Nate's orgasm to subside. He was trying real hard not to cum and then when he saw Nate squeeze out the last of his cum, he pulled out, took the condom off and started jerking off. As he was jerking off, Nate sat up and reached for his dick, then took it in his mouth. "What are you... Oh shit!" Luke said as he started shooting inside Nate's mouth. Nate started swallowing as soon as he felt the first few warm shots and then he started swirling his tongue around the head of Luke's dick. "Oh my god..." Luke managed to say as he lost his balance and fell on his back on top of the bed.
Nate swallowed the last few shots and felt some of Luke's cum had dripped out of his mouth. He kept sucking and licking as he ran his fingers over Luke's balls until Luke stopped shooting. "How did I do on that?" Nate asked him smiling.
"Oh my... Fuck, that was... I can't talk..." Luke said in between ragged breaths as his chest heaved up and down.
Nate started kissing Luke's abs and started kissing his way up, stopping to suck on his nipples a little bit. "I wanted to try that since a while ago so I figured to just go for it," Nate said as he gently kissed him on the lips.
"Whatever you want to try, you have my blessing to go for it from now on," Luke said smiling before kissing him.
"Horny bastard," Nate said chuckling.
"You love my horniness," Luke said smiling at him.
"By the way, you got an A," Nate said smiling back.
"Told ya I have the best teacher," Luke said before kissing him.

"Have you seen Hitler's granddaughter around?" Becca asked him as she looked around.
"No, I think Ms.. Hepburn might be on her coffee break or something," Darryl answered as he shook his head smiling.
Olin library swarmed with students; it seemed as if teachers had agreed upon laying an enormous amount of homework on their students for this weekend. As she looked around for an available table, she looked back and saw Darryl standing up in the middle of the library looking around. She realized he was probably looking for Brent. After their break up, both Brent and Martin had become evasive about what had ended their relationship. "Darryl, come here and leave your stuff here, if you want you can go look for him and come back here so we'll have a table," she yelled at him.
"Ok," he yelled as he started walking and then stopped in his tracks as he stared frightened at something or someone behind her, she thought when she saw his stare.
"Ms.. Wyler, I would appreciate it if you would keep your tone down inside the library. After all this isn't some fair where you can put such tones to use," Mrs Hepburn said from behind her.
She shrunk reflexively as she looked back with a shy smile on her face. Ms. Hepburn was arching her eyebrows; her mouth had turned into a wrinkled pout as she stared icily at Becca through her glasses. "I'm sorry Ms. Hepburn, I forgot, you know homework and all the stress tend to affect memory sometimes..." she said and immediately regretted it as she saw Ms. Hepburn's expression hardening as she used her left hand's index finger to push her glasses up on the bridge of her nose.
"Homework and stress, I see. Though it seeMs. a bit odd to me, for I recall you would act the same way all the time when Mr. Thompson used to work here and you'd come to join him while he'd attempt to do his job..." Ms. Hepburn was saying.
"Wait a minute, I may not be the most polite person around here, but you sure know Nate did his job just fine!" Becca said cutting her off.
Darryl started giving slow steps towards Becca to try and pull her away fearing what she might say next when Ms. Hepburn spoke up. "You're right," she said. Becca looked back at Darryl in shock. "Mr. Thompson did a wonderful job, it's a pity that he's resigned, I can hardly make his replacement do anything right," she said as she looked around the room. She stopped when she saw a guy in a pair of dark blue jeans and a dark green hoody that was on top of a ladder arranging some books on the top of a very tall book shelf. "Mr WilliaMs.!" Ms. Hepburn yelled out to him. The kid looked back, cute Becca thought.
"Yes Ms. Hepburn?" he asked shyly.
"What in the name of God do you think you are doing?" she asked as she started walking towards him. She started muttering something about incompetence and youth as Becca and Darryl stood there watching as she told the poor kid to get off the latter and let her do the job properly.
"Poor thing, good thing Nate doesn't have to put up with that anymore," Brent said from behind them.
"When did you get here?" Darryl asked as he turned back to look at him standing there with a book pressed against his chest and his backpack hanging from his left shoulder.
"Just a few seconds ago," Brent answered as they looked at Ms. Hepburn climbing on the ladder with a bunch of books in one hand.
"If she's not careful she might fall off," Becca commented as she saw the ladder shaking from side to side a few inches as Ms. Hepburn banged a few books into place while she yelled down to Nate's replacement about what the proper order was.
"So, you were supposed to meet me here like half an hour ago," Darryl said looking down at Brent.
Brent's green eyes shot to Darryl's. "I came a little earlier, thought I might head back to the dorm and get some rest," he said as he looked back down.
"How've you been honey?" Becca asked him.
"Ok, just bored," Brent answered nonchalantly as he opened his backpack and put the book inside. Cold, Becca thought, now she knew something was wrong.
"You've been getting a lot of rest lately, don't you think you should try to do something else, hang out with us maybe?" Darryl said, not taking his eyes off him.
"I think I like the idea of taking a nap more," Brent said as he looked up into Darryl's eyes.
Becca was about to throw an angered remark at him for treating them like that when they all heard someone yell. "Watch out Ms. Hepburn!" They all looked to the ladder and saw Ms. Hepburn fall to her side. Becca froze; Ms. Hepburn had fallen from about nine feet up in the air. They heard Nate's replacement mumbling something from afar and before she realized about what she was doing she started running towards them. When she got there, she saw the kid kneeling over Ms. Hepburn who was lying on her back, apparently unconscious. She reached them and started shaking Ms. Hepburn as the kid kept saying. "Please wake up I'll do it right this time..." Becca looked up at the kid as she saw a few tears falling down his face and then she saw a bunch of people gathered at the other side of the bookshelf.
"What the fuck are y'all looking at?!" she yelled at the top of her lungs and a few of them walked away startled.
"Such language..." Ms. Hepburn whispered as she started waking up.
"Thank god, Ms. Hepburn I'm sorry. I'll get it right next time, but please stay awake," Nate's replacement said.
"Ms. Wyler is that you?" Ms. Hepburn asked as she looked up and started wincing in pain.
"Yes Ms. Hepburn, stay still don't get up," Becca said as she started taking off her sweater and then she placed it under Ms. Hepburn's head, trying carefully to not move her head too much.
"I already told the janitor and he said he'd call and ambulance," Darryl said as he got next to Brent.
"I didn't think she would actually fall," Brent said as he stared a few feet in front of them, where Becca was on her knees running her hands on Ms. Hepburn's red hair.
Darryl knew Brent wouldn't talk if Becca was around so he took the chance and asked. "What happened between you and Martin that you won't talk about it?"
"None of your business," Brent answered. "I can't believe you picked this moment to get all parenting on me," he said as he started to walk away.
Darryl reached for him and stopped him, grabbing him by the arMs.. "I'm sick of this shit, you're my best friend man, but lately you just shut me out and I fucking hate it," Darryl said as he pulled Brent back.
No point in fighting back, Brent thought. Darryl was clearly much stronger than he was and had the upper hand. Maybe if he'd just say it quickly Darryl would loosen his grip and he could get off. "Martin was in love with someone else, that's why," he said and then tried to walk away but Darryl tightened his grip.
"Was he cheating on you?" Darryl asked him.
Brent looked up to him. "No, he wasn't," he said.
"Then, what happened?" Darryl asked him.
"I broke up with him, 'cause I didn't see a point in staying with him knowing that we both loved someone else," Brent said and tried to pull away.
"Wait, don't tell me that you're still... You know..." Darryl said and Brent went limp.
"Yeah, and so? I can't help it," Brent said. Darryl let go off him, only this time Brent didn't try to get away, he turned around and looked up with teary eyes at Darryl. "I still love you and I can't change that," he said shrugging his shoulders.
"I know Ms. Hepburn, I'm sure help is already on the way, just wait a little more," Becca said as she kept running her hands over Ms. Hepburn's hair. Where the hell had Darryl gone? She looked back and felt a chill go up her spine as she saw Brent put a hand on Darryl's face, pulling him down for a kiss; Darryl leaned forward but moved away. Brent looked dejected and hurt and gave a few steps back. She was about to stand up and walk to where they were with anger taking over, but then Ms. Hepburn spoke up.
"Oh no dear, please don't leave me, I have no one!" Ms. Hepburn said as she started crying.
"Oh no, I'm sorry Ms. Hepburn, I wasn't going to leave," she said trying to calm her down. She looked up at Nate's replacement and saw him looking back and forth from the two of them, not knowing what to do. "What's your name?" she asked him.
"Alan," he answered.
"Alan, please go find out why it is taking so long for help to get here would you?" she asked him.
"Ok, I'll be right back, Ms. Hepburn you're going to be fine," he said as he got up and ran off.
"He's a nice kid, but if he is running I'm going to kill him," Ms. Hepburn said as she moved her head uncomfortably.
"What's your first name Ms. Hepburn?" Becca asked her.
"It's Evelyn," she answered.
"Ok Evie, just have some more patience, I know it hurts but the school paramedics are going to get here soon and they'll take you to the hospital so they can help you," Becca said as she pulled her glasses off her. Then she reached back and pulled the few pins that Ms. Hepburn had used to tie her hair back in a bun. Ms. Hepburn's red hair was a beautiful curly mass that sprang free and Becca smoothed it to her sides as she placed Ms. Hepburn's head back down on her sweater.
"Thank you dear, that feels better," Ms. Hepburn answered.
"You know I love you man, but not like that... You're my best friend, we gave that a try and you know I just can't do it..." Darryl said as he tried to pull Brent into a hug.
"I know, but I still love you and I can't help it," Brent said as he gave a few steps back and away from Darryl.
"I'm in love with her, I'm sorry buddy," Darryl said looking down.
"It's ok, I guess it'll wear off," Brent said as he wiped a tear off his face.
"That's what you said last summer before coming here," Darryl said looking at his face.
"So? Maybe I just need some more time," Brent said looking away.
Darryl looked at the entrance to the library and saw the paramedics coming in with the new kid that was working as Ms. Hepburn's assistant. "Listen Brent, I gotta go check on Becca... I love you man," he said as he hugged him.
"I know, I'll be at the dorm," Brent said looking down as he parted from the hug.
"I'll be there in a while buddy," Darryl told him.
"OK, now go," Brent said as he started walking out.
Darryl walked past some students that were still around the bookshelf and got to Becca, he placed a hand on her shoulder and she looked back as the paramedics were checking on Ms. Hepburn's vital signs. "They're taking her to the hospital," she said as soon as she saw it was him.
"Young man you must get a haircut," Ms. Hepburn said when she saw him next to Becca.
"Oh no Evie, he's just fine like that," Becca said smiling down at her.
Evie??? Darryl thought. Ms. Hepburn sighed. "Well if you say so darling, these younger generations..." Ms. Hepburn said.
Darryl's eyes went wide. Becca and Ms. Hepburn were treating each other as if they were good friends. What the hell had happened while he was talking to Brent? "We are going to bring a gurney and take you to the hospital now Ms. Hepburn," one of the paramedics said.
"Oh lord..." Ms. Hepburn said before she started to sob.
"Can I go with her?" Becca asked the paramedic that had just talked to them.
"If it's only one person, then yes," he answered.
"Oh my dear please, I don't have any family and it would be so dreadful all by myself..." Ms. Hepburn said crying.
"Don't worry Evelyn I won't leave you," Becca answered, she looked back at Darryl. "Baby would you please get my things?" she asked Darryl.
He nodded. "I'll be right back," he said as he ran to get her book bag.
The paramedics came with the gurney and asked Becca to step away while they got her on it. Darryl got next to her and gave her things to her. She took her sweater and put it on as they started adjusting the straps on the gurney to Ms. Hepburn. "Darryl, we need to talk, about you and Brent," she said looking at him in the eyes.
He swallowed. She had seen something. "I know, I should've told you before, but I'll tell you... It's not that what you think though..." he started stammering.
"Ms. Wyler!" Ms. Hepburn called out to her from the gurney.
"It's okay honey, I saw that you didn't kiss him, but still we have to talk, I gotta go now," she said as she ran to catch up with the gurney.
* * *
He lay awake under Dylan's covers. It had to be after nine, probably around ten in the morning already. They had gotten there a little close to nine in the evening and he had felt his heart skip a beat as soon as he'd seen Julian. New thoughts had started to swirl around his head since he heard Julian was single again. Knowing very well that Nate was in love with Luke, he had put as much of his efforts to help him and Luke get back together. Wishing deep down that Nate's heart would change, that he'd somehow notice him. But he knew all along that Nate only had eyes for Luke, and so he had kept his feelings to hiMs.elf, thinking that no one would notice them. Yet Brent had discovered them and used them as his reason to end their relationship.
The sound of voices from the hallway right outside the room made him come out of his thoughts. Luke's voice was easy to recognize for him, yet the other voice had to be either one of the twins, for even their voices seemed to sound the same. As he remembered the previous night, he gently ran his fingers over his cheek. Over the spot where Julian had placed a kiss on his cheek, causing him to shiver, wishing Julian had kissed him in the moth. "Ryan doesn't have a clue of what he's missing," he'd told Julian when he'd gone into Julian's room to say good night. Julian had stared into his eyes with a faint blush and then placed the kiss on his cheek as he hugged Martin tightly against his chest.
He heard Luke was still talking to one of the twins and then he started stretching. As he did so, he realized he had a raging boner. Not his usual morning woody, he reached into his boxers and rubbed the tip of his cock with his thumb, feeling the pre-cum that was already covering it. The door opened slowly. Wiping his fingers on his boxer, he moved his hand away from his cock. "Good morning," one of the twins said from his left. He sat up and looked to his side.
"Dylan right?" he asked as he saw the same black boxers he had seen the night before when he went in the room as Dylan left to sleep in with Julian.
"Yup, you looked a little down last night, I just wanted to check on you," Dylan answered.
"I'm okay, just a little bored," he answered smiling as he rubbed his eyes.
"I'm going to try and fix breakfast, Luke said he'll help me so if you want I think it'll be ready in like half an hour," Dylan told him as he got off the bed.
"Luke's cooking?" Martin asked in disbelief.
"Yeah, Julian said the same thing when I told him I'm cooking," Dylan said scratching his head.
"Is Julian okay?" Martin asked him.
"Well, he's getting better, but I think it's going to take him a while to get back on his feet," Dylan said before letting out a sigh.
Martin started looking around the room, not paying attention to Dylan. He'd lost his parents and his brother. Fret had become something rather constant in his life, doubt, fear and insecurity had driven his actions for too long. Doubts had begun to cloud his mind in the last week ever since Brent had told him exactly what he had been hiding all to eagerly from him and everyone else. Was the universe setout to keep him from having real happiness? Were the death of his family and the constant love heartbreaks a sign of that he wasn't meant to have full happiness as a part of his life?
"Are YOU okay?" Dylan asked him as he placed a hand on Martin's shoulder and squeezed it snapping him out of his thinking.
"Yeah... I mean... Well I've got a lot in my head man," Martin confessed before looking down and letting out a sigh.
"Luke tells me that you used to talk to his mom and that it helped you a little," Dylan said with concern.
"I know, Aunt Marla rocks and it's just that I don't feel like giving her any more of my shit to deal with. If I don't learn on my own how to deal with my thoughts and feelings then how will I manage to go on when she's not there to help?" Martin thought aloud at Dylan's question.
"Spoken like a true kid with no parents," Dylan said nodding at him.
Martin furrowed his brow at him. "What do you mean?" Martin asked him.
"After our dad died, Julian and I started to go through a time when we wouldn't want to talk about our feelings, or ask for help for that matter," Dylan told him. Martin nodded, letting him know he wanted to hear more. "This was like less than a year ago. So we started trying to deal with his death on our own, we wouldn't tell anyone about how bad we missed him. A few months after his death we were so pissed off and frustrated for not knowing how to deal with it on our own that it started to take a toll on everyone else."
"You were turning hostile?" Martin asked him.
"Yes and no," Dylan answered as he took a deep breath. "When dad was around we would talk to him about everything and he'd help us think everything through. But when he died, we didn't know what to do. On one side, Julian had always been to me an equal, my brother, there was no older or younger. Our dad was the bigger figure, the one we'd look up to or ask for help. So once he was gone we were lost. I didn't know what to do a lot of times when I would usually would just ask dad for help. And I guess Julian somehow felt like he had to make up for that. You know be the big brother, the older brother," he stopped and looked at the ground with a smile on his face. It seemed more like a sad smile to Martin's eyes.
"Didn't you guys have a legal guardian when your dad died?" Martin asked him.
"Yeah, though our uncle would barely show up on the weekends and if it hadn't been for Julian he'd have spent all of our inheritance money," Dylan told him.
"Sounds like my grandparents," Martin said bitterly.
"Even before dying our dad said he had made sure that when he'd be gone we wouldn't have money trouble. And he was right, he did leave that douchebag as our legal guardian, but that was just because he was the only other blood relative we had in the area," Dylan said.
"And Nate's mom?" Martin asked him.
"Aunt Maggie? Dad would've rather given us up for adoption than leave us to her and that son of a..." Dylan stopped hiMs.elf just in time. "Nate's dad keeps our aunt under his all mighty control. A woman thinking for herself? That is nonsense according to him. Men are to keep women under control at all moments. That is why my dad started fighting with both of them at the beginning. He kept trying to get Nate's mom to stand up for herself and for her children. And fighting with Nate's dad had become something quite familiar for him."
"Yeah, I've heard Nate say very few things about his parents, but most of them have been short bitter remarks about his dad," Martin agreed.
"I'm getting a bit off track here," Dylan said smiling at him.
"Ok, sorry, you said Julian wanted to make up for your dad's absence," Martin recounted.
"Yeah, well he started getting defensive. Our uncle would barely be around and most of the times he'd spend here, he'd end up asking for money. If I come to think about it Julian would just give him some money and threaten him until he'd leave us alone. I started to become withdrawn, quiet and distant I guess. After some time people started noticing and commenting about it and of course that would get Julian to make them wish they hadn't mentioned anything. Even Tommy had a few times when he'd bite his tongue, knowing better than to stir any more trouble."
"So how did you guys get through it?" Martin asked him.
"If you tell anyone about this, and I do mean anyone, I will make you pay," Dylan said pointing his finger at him. Martin put his right hand on his chest and his left hand up, palm to the front in an oath gesture. Dylan smiled, nodded and continued. "I read some of Julian's psychology books. You know he loves to read. I guess you could say he has a bit of a taste for social sciences too. So I read some stuff about insecurities and social expectancies and the like and decided we both needed to get some help and put a stop to the whole mess."
Martin nodded. "So you're trying to tell me that getting help doesn't hurt?" he asked.
"No, I'm telling you something that our therapist had a hard time getting down our throats. It's okay to screw up, yes, you're alone, yes, the people you loved and that supported you aren't here anymore. But that doesn't mean that you're not allowed to make a few mistakes from time to time."
Martin chuckled. "Okay, Julian's right, sometimes it feels as if you don't even realize about what's happening right in front of you and sometimes it feels as if you're a mind reader."
"I'm not as dumb as I look huh?" Dylan asked smiling.
"I guess you're right, it's just that I already screwed up, not long ago and that makes me afraid of doing it again," Martin answered.
"Well, we all screw up, but sometimes things happen for a reason don't you think?" Dylan asked shrugging his shoulders.
"Maybe," he agreed.
Dylan took a deep breath. "Okay, I've been dying to ask you something. Do you like Julian? And you know what I mean by like," Dylan asked him looking suddenly into his eyes.
Feeling caught off guard he tried to unsuccessfully speak as the words got caught in his throat a few times. "I... Well... He's..."
"I'll make this easier for you, I saw you in his room last night, I heard what you told him and saw how he reacted," Dylan told him.
He sighed. There was no point in hiding it then was there? "Okay, I do, I'm just a bit confused, but I am sure that I like him a lot," he confessed nodding his head and staring back into Dylan's eyes.
Dylan smiled and nodded. "He's confused too, so you should take it slowly with him, you know let him make up his mind," Dylan told him.
"So you're giving me a green light?" Martin asked him arching his eyebrows.
"I guess you could look at it that way," Dylan agreed with him.
"Dude, Dylan I need your help in the kitchen damn it!" Luke said from outside before popping his head in the door.
"Okay then," Dylan said as he got up and walked to the door. He stopped in the doorframe, looked back at Martin and winked at him before leaving after Luke.
"Thank you," Martin said smiling towards the door.
* * *
"You two look great together," Julian said as he walked in the living room.
Luke was sitting on one of the living room's couches, looking out the window when Julian had walked in. "Thanks, I just hope I don't cause anything to get out of proportion anymore," he said blushing.
"You'll do fine, I feel like I met you when you were drunk and now I got to meet you sober," Julian said smiling.
"Shut up," Luke said chuckling.
"Well it's a good thing though. To be honest with you when I realized Nate was thinking of getting back with you I was very reluctant about the idea," Julian confessed to him.
"Understandable," Luke replied nodding his head.
"But now I think he was seeing what all of us didn't want to see. I guess we were just afraid that he could get hurt again," Julian told him.
"You care about him, that's why you had your doubts, but if it works for anything... I promise you that I would rather cut my dick off before hurting him like I did ever again," Luke said with a sad smile.
"It's okay, I believe you. Now I just wished I hadn't judged you like I did after realizing about what an asshole I had for a boyfriend," Julian confessed.
"He really hurt you didn't he?" Luke asked.
"Well I guess it's my fault, I knew from the beginning that he was a horny bastard. I guess I just didn't think that he might not feel the same way I did for him. He says we're both too young to be tied down and be exclusive," Julian said looking out the window.
"Sounds like me wanting to sleep with other guys," Luke pondered aloud.
"No, you're a lot different. You told Nate about your curiosities and yes, it lead to trouble. But he didn't tell me anything and then went and slept with a member of the cheerleading squad," Julian said pressing his hand into a fist.
"A guy?" Luke asked him.
"Yeah, taller than me, with about a hundred points less of IQ," Julian said with a bitter smile on his face as he sat down next to Luke on the couch.
Luke put his hand on Julian's shoulder and squeezed it, causing him to look startled at him. "I'm sorry man, at least you found out about it now before it got any worse," Luke told him. Julian gave a sad smile and then placed his hand on top of Luke's.
"Thank you, now Nate was right. You're pretty cool when you behave," Julian said smiling a happier smile.
"And he's always been right about you guys too. I have to admit I was jealous of you guys when I first met you," Luke confessed as he looked down.
"Jealous? Why?" Julian asked him.
"Because of the whole sibling thing you guys have going on. I don't know if my mom has told Martin any of this, but my parents tried to have more kids several times and all of them ended up in my mom having a miscarriage," Luke said before swallowing and biting on his lower lip.
"I'm sorry Luke... How old were you?" Julian asked him.
"They tried three times, when I was two, then when I was six and the last time they tried was when I was thirteen. Yet they only told me and explained to me that the baby could die when I was thirteen. My mom was so scared, I didn't know at the time that they had tried two times before that. The second time she realized she was pregnant when she lost the baby. They had been trying for a while and they didn't know she was already pregnant," Luke said.
"Did she have a condition or something the doctors could treat?" Julian asked.
"No, they didn't really know what was happening, never did actually. Anyways the third time, they hadn't said anything fearing that she might lose the baby and then it would hurt even more. After four months of pregnancy they thought they were safe, the doctors said that it looked like everything was going smoothly. So when they told me I was so happy, I guess after having friends who had baby or older siblings it just felt great."
"How far along did she get?" Julian asked him.
"Seven and a half months. My dad and I even painted her cradle. It was pink and I painted her name on the head of it 'Lisa' in big blue prints," Luke said with tears welling in his eyes.
"I'm sorry Luke," Julian said as he put his arMs. around him.
"Thanks," Luke said a little surprised as he wiped a few tears off his face. "I guess I should apologize though."
"Why?" Julian asked him.
"Because I think I was jealous of how close you, Dylan and Nate seemed. And I think that is what got me to freak out when I saw you and him kissing. I felt so threatened, because I feared that liking you guys as much as he does, he'd probably give me up for one of you in a second," Luke said pulling back from the hug a little bit.
"If you'd only known how much he really loves you," Julian said smiling.
"Oh I know that now, thankfully," Luke told him back.
"Are you and Martin pretty close?" Julian asked him as he remembered the kiss he planted on Martin's cheek the night before, when he had actually wanted to kiss him on the mouth.
"Yeah, I guess you could say now I sort of know what having a brother must be like," Luke confessed.
"I hear he sort of pushed you into seeing reason a few months ago," Julian said.
"Yeah, I guess you could say he made me realize about how much of an ass I was being," Luke said smiling.
"So do you look at him like a brother now?" Julian asked.
"I guess so, god he was so pissed at me a few months ago," Luke said shaking his head.
"Because of the whole Nate deal?" Julian asked.
"Well apart from that, I told my mom I was doing something with him during my birthday and I wasn't. I didn't tell him when it was going to be. So I spent it alone, and the next morning my mom calls him to ask if we had fun. He wanted to kill me, I guess I was just being depressive and he was so angry at me for tricking him," Luke told him.
"So you spent your birthday alone?" Julian asked wide-eyed.
"Yeah, but it wasn't that much of a big deal anyways, though I felt like shit when Martin found out he was mad and I guess sad too," Luke pondered.
"Has he been dealing okay?" Julian asked him.
Luke realized Julian must've been asking about the break up. "Yeah, he doesn't say much but apparently things were bad since a while ago, and he thinks it was bound to happen," he answered.
He knew he liked Martin, enough to think of him as a very good possible boyfriend. They could work around the distance, he was sure of that. But was he ready for a relationship at this point? He suddenly had an idea that snapped him out of his thoughts. "I think I'm going to go get some groceries, I'll ask Martin if he wants to come along," he told Luke as he got up and off the couch.
"Thanks for listening," Luke said smiling up at him.
"Thanks for trusting me," Julian said smiling as he went up the stairs.

"Ok, so are you going to tell me what's in that box?" Martin asked from the backseat.
"Nope, not until we get to the house," Julian answered arching his eyebrows.
"Ok, so you ask me to get beer, and then you get a box and don't tell me what's in it. What wicked plans do you have?" Martin asked arching an eyebrow and smiling mischievously at him.
"Ok, so you got me, it's a bunch of double headed dildos I admit it," Julian said feigning concern.
"Right, and Dylan's getting the leather clothing we're going to wear when we use them right?" Martin asked sarcastically.
"I'm not telling you what's in there," Julian said smiling back at him.
"It's too small for double headed dildos, but still it's kinda big," Martin commented eying it from the back seat.
Julian looked back furrowing his brow. "You've seen double headed dildos before?" he asked with a little apprehension.
"Not telling you," Martin said before looking out the window.
"Ok and what is that brand of beer you bought? I told you to get Budweisers or something like that, I've never even heard of this one," Julian said as he looked at the six packs resting on the seat next to Martin.
"Stella Artois is Belgian beer. If we're going to be drinking then we should drink something good, not Budweisers," Martin said smirking at him.
"And I bet it's like 50% alcohol, are you trying to have your way with me Mr. Mayfair?" Julian asked with a devilish smile.
"It's 5% alcohol and I would not get you drunk for something like that," Martin said looking at him seriously, then he smiled and looked at him up and down before looking out the window. "Though I would sure love to have my way with you..." he said above a whisper, but loud enough to cause Julian to start popping a boner and feel butterflies in his stomach.
"Ok, we're here, looks like Tommy got here already too," Julian said as they drove up their driveway.
"Ok so you're up to something," Martin said as they got out of the car.
Julian walked inside and went straight to the kitchen. Martin followed and placed the beers in the sink as Julian took the box outside from the white plastic bag that was covering it and placed it on top of the breakfast table. Then Martin realized it was a cake. The bakery's logo and name were on top of it. Julian opened the box and Martin saw a chocolate cake in it. He stepped closer and read the message written with vanilla on top of it.
Happy Belated
Birthday Luke "Why did you get this?" Martin asked him.
"Because Luke tells me that he didn't do anything during his birthday and I just thought it'd be fun with all you guys here, that's why I called Tommy, now we can celebrate his birthday," Julian told him as he took out some plates and placed them next to the cake box.
Martin stared at him in disbelief. He thought about his earlier conversation with Dylan. I can make mistakes he thought, if he'd think all the time about what to do then when will he actually do something? Maybe the universe is set out to prevent him from being happy, but he would sure not give up without fighting back. As he stared at Julian he felt his fears leaving him as a warm feeling grew in his chest. He gave a few steps forward and grabbed Julian's head pulling him down for a kiss. Julian didn't resist, he looked startled but after a few seconds he was returning the kiss. Martin felt Julian's hands holding his face as Julian returned the kiss with equal passion.
Julian broke the kiss and looked into Martin's eyes. Then he picked him up and put him on top of the breakfast table, luckily without knocking anything from it. He pushed Martin onto his back and got on top of him, placing kisses on his neck and jaw. Martin moaned and ran his hands over Julian's back as he came up to kiss him on the lips again. Julian broke the kiss and gave a few steps back.
"I'm sorry man," Julian said before covering his mouth with his hand.
"Why are you sorry, I mean do you like me?" Martin asked starting to feel nervous.
"Of course I do, it's just that... Well we just had break ups and I don't think it's such a good idea," Julian said.
"I know, but still I had wanted to do that since I saw you yesterday," Martin said blushing.
"Me too," Julian said. Martin looked up and into his eyes and then moved forward to give him another kiss.
"Ok, I guess we should just take it slowly," Martin said after giving Julian a brief kiss. "I'll go call the guys for the cake," he said as he rounded the breakfast table.
As Martin was walking out of the kitchen, Julian walked up to him and grabbed him from behind turning him around. He kissed Martin once again, pushing him against the wall as they kissed. "Sorry, I just wanted another one," Julian said before starting to kiss him on his cheeks and neck. Martin reached in front of him and rubbed his hand against Julian's erection making him moan. Julian reached to the front and rubbed Martin's boner through his pants. "Oh god, I'm so going up to St. Louis next weekend," Julian said before giving a few steps back letting Martin go.
"Ok, I'll go get them now," Martin said before kissing him one last time and walking out of the kitchen with a smile on his face. 'I can be happy and I will be,' he thought as he started going up the stairs.
